A Life in Food, Built Around Hospitality
Phill's culinary journey began on the San Juan Islands of Washington, where he started working as a dishwasher at just 13 years old before working his way up to a line cook position.
At 22, he moved to the Seattle area, where he continued to develop his skills in luxury retirement communities and at Nintendo of America, gaining experience across a wide variety of cuisines, service styles, and culinary environments.
After relocating to Idaho, Phill began his management career, leading teams and serving local communities through thoughtful, reliable food service. In 2023, he and his family moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he turned a longtime dream into reality by launching Malouf Personal Chef.
His passion for cooking was inspired by his grandmother's homemade Lebanese meals and his grandfather's entrepreneurial spirit. Today, Malouf Personal Chef is dedicated to his wife and son, Tanner, whose love and support helped make the business possible.
